Why we built Enchant
The best image model, research service, and browser tool often live in different products. Using each one means another login, billing relationship, and monthly plan, even when you only need it once.
Now, companies are starting to offer access to their services by the request. Payment protocols such as x402 and MPP let software handle those payments directly. Enchant builds on top of that infrastructure to create a familiar experience for people who don't want to deal with agents in a terminal, integrate APIs, or configure wallets to use it.
The best tool depends on the job
Enchant makes more than 100 specialized services available in one place. A catalog alone still leaves you to decide which service to use. Enchant can route the request for you, comparing services based on fit, price, speed, reliability, and your preferences. It shows the selected service before anything runs, and you can always choose a provider yourself from the tool catalog.
The catalog spans research, images, video, audio, translation, travel, communications, company data, documents, storage, and browser work. It includes fal.ai for media, DeepL for translation, Exa and Parallel for research, Firecrawl for website content, Apollo for company research, and Reducto for documents.
Some jobs require a real website rather than an API. Browserbase provides cloud browser infrastructure that lets software open and interact with live websites. The Enchant Browser Library turns that capability into ready-to-run skills for research, extraction, comparison, monitoring, and automation. Each skill packages a repeatable workflow for a specific site or use case, giving Enchant a way to work with dynamic web experiences even when no purpose-built API exists. Choose a workflow, add the details, review the price, and run it with the same controls and receipts as any other Enchant service.
From prompt to receipt
Instead of comparing products and plans, describe the result once:
- Describe the result in plain English.
- Review the selected service and estimated price.
- Approve the paid job.
- Receive the result and receipt in the same conversation.
The same pattern applies to an image, research brief, document extraction, company search, or browser task. Prices vary, but Enchant shows the estimate first so you can decide whether the result is worth it.
Control is part of the product
Enchant is built by Conto, the control center for agentic payments. You can set per-payment and conversation limits, restrict providers, and require approval above a threshold.
This matters because Enchant shows how agentic payment experiences can be built with control in the user's hands, helping people understand and trust each transaction.
Enchant evaluates those rules before money moves. Behind the scenes, it can settle supported payments through x402 and MPP. On the surface, users see credits, an upfront estimate, the selected service, and an auditable receipt.
The same catalog for agents
Enchant for Agents gives coding agents and other tool-using clients access to the same catalog. Install the Enchant skill with one command, connect through hosted MCP using OAuth, or use an API key.
An agent can discover services, inspect prices, pass through approval and budget checks, run a job, and return a receipt. Agents can use Enchant credits or, for supported services, prepare Base x402 or Tempo MPP payments from a local wallet.
Enchant also provides starter workflows and a TypeScript client for teams building it into their own tools.
